Comet Neowise Featuring his Bright Ion Tail above Tua Valley in Dark Sky Vale do Tua

The image shows Comet Neowise C/2020 F3 with his long blueish ion tail made by ionized gas – gas energized by ultraviolet light from the Sun and pushed outward by the solar wind – faintly visible at the left side of the comet while it was setting above Tua Valley, territory of Dark Sky Vale do Tua, in northern part of Portugal. The image is a panorama of 4 single shots captured at the end of Nautical Twilight on 16th July 2020. The comet has become so bright that can be seen easily with unaided eye from a dark sky location.

A imagem é resultado de um panorama de 4 disparos únicos captado no final do Crepúsculo Naútico a de 16 de julho de 2020. O cometa ficou tão brilhante que pode ser visto facilmente a olho nu, a partir de uma zona com céu relativamente escuro.
