The Rich Colorful Field of Orion´s Belt

In the top center of the image three bright supergiant stars, Mintaka, Alnilam and Alnitak (from left to right) are shinning in blue, forming a stellar triplet also known as Orion´s Belt. This colorful and deep wide starfield, snaps part of the Orion constellation with two strong reddish H-alfa emissions from the Orion Molecular Cloud Complex, that includes Horsehead Nebula at the right side of Alnitak, and below it, the Flame Nebula featuring a skin tone. Following down the brown dense area of gas and dust and we will find M78, a bright blue reflection nebula located in the center of the picture. The second bright H-alfa emission that runs horizontally across the photo, is the end of Barnard’s Loop, Sh2-276. The imaginary diagonal line where all of those deep sky objects above described seems to be aligined, ends in the bottom center of the image, featuring an interesting dark nebula, LDN 1622.
PT: No centro superior da imagem, as três estrelas supergigantes, Mintaka, Alnilam e Alnitak, brilham intensamente numa tonalidade azul, formando um triplet estelar também conhecido como Cinturão de Orion. Este campo estelar colorido e profundo, contempla parte da constelação de Orion com duas altas emissões de H-alfa, avermelhadas, do Complexo Molecular de Orion, que inclui a Nebulosa da Cabeça do Cavalo no lado direito da estrela Alnitak e abaixo dela, a Nebulosa da Chama, visível na imagem com um tom de pele. Seguindo a área acastanhada e densa de gás e poeiras, encontraremos M78, uma nebulosa de reflexão azul brilhante localizada no centro da imagem. A segunda emissão brilhante de H-alfa que atravessa horizontalmente a parte inferior da foto, é região final do Barnard’s Loop, Sh2-276. A linha diagonal imaginária onde todos estes objetos de céu profundo acima descritos parecem estar alinhados, termina no centro inferior da imagem, apresentando uma nebulosa escura interessante, LDN 1622.
