A Panoramic Scene from Icealnd Shows a Colorful Display of Northern Lights Dancing above a Lake in Krafla

On my long trip to Iceland, which happened in September of this year, I found in Krafla region this magical spot with a lake embedded in a small mountain facing north. The view from the top was impressive and it looks like a crater. Late in the night, northern lights arrived in full glory fulfilling the night sky with wonderful reddish, violet, pink and greenish colorful hues from the charged particle.

A vista do topo era impressionante e parecia uma cratera. No final da noite, as luzes do norte surgiram em todo o seu esplendor, enchendo o céu nocturno com maravilhosos tons avermelhados, entre violetas, rosas e ainda tons esverdeados, resultado das partículas carregadas proveneientes do sol em interação com diferentes elementos na alta atmosfera.
