Stargazing with Binoculars the Wonderful view of Comet Neowise

The image shows a stargazer enjoying a wonderful celestial view while observing with binoculars Comet Neowise C/2020 F3. The picture reveals its long blueish ion tail made by ionized gas – gas energized by ultraviolet light from the Sun and pushed outward by the solar wind – faintly visible at the left side of the comet while it was setting above Tua Valley, territory of Dark Sky Vale do Tua, in northern part of Portugal. The image is a panorama of 4 single shots captured at the end of Nautical Twilight on 16th July 2020. The comet has become so bright that can be seen easily with unaided eye from a dark sky location.

A fotografia revela a sua longa cauda de iões azulada composta por gás ionizado – gás este energizado pela luz ultravioleta do Sol e empurrado para fora pelo vento solar – subtilmente visível no lado esquerdo do cometa enquanto este se deitava acima do Vale do Tua, no território Dark Sky Vale do Tua, região norte de Portugal. A imagem é resultado de um panorama de 4 disparos únicos captado no final do Crepúsculo Naútico a de 16 de julho de 2020. O cometa ficou tão brilhante que pode ser visto facilmente a olho nu, a partir de uma zona com céu relativamente escuro.
